Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting our construction projects with precise financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate financial records for all construction projects.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and budget analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate data entry.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Manage construction project billing and track project expenses.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP.
- Communicate with project managers, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters.
