My client is a established and growing civil contractor that is looking to add a Construction Quality Control Manager to their team. They are working on some of the Tri-States largest infrastructure projects and have close to $70 million in backlogged worked. This opportunity offers stability, benefits, and competitive pay!
Job Description
- Develop and execute QC Plan following three phases of control.
- Ensure all personnel on project, including subcontractors are complying with QC requirements
- Maintain compliance with contract documents and specifications
- Work close with the Project Manager to have a complete knowledge and understanding of the contract, each subcontract, to develop onsite procedures.
- Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings/inspections to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each feature of work.
- Complete inspection reports
- inspect and evaluate adequacy of work performed and identify non-conformities
- Maintain daily paperwork such as reports and log updates
- Conduct pre-final/final inspections; establish punch list; and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or project management is desirable. (10 yrs of construction management experience will be accepted in place of education.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a CQC Manager overseeing construction projects.
- Proficient skill level in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Projects.
- Primavera P6 software knowledge is highly desirable.
- Procore software knowledge is highly desirable.
- Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $78.00/hr.
