Job Overview
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be someone with 5 years of construction experience to keep our foreman on track and communicate with our director of Operations to carry out the day-to-day workflow in the field and keep our foreman accountable.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to contract specifications.
- Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications accurately.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to construction management are a plus.
