Job Title: Drafting Manager
Description:
We are seeking a Drafting Manager to oversee a team of drafters creating fabrication drawings for client-specific equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of five drafters, providing direction and expertise on fabrication/shop drawings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, internal fabricators, and shop employees.
- Translate ideas or concepts from the internal team or clients into designs and delegate tasks accordingly.
- Ensure drawings meet customer standards and guidelines through spot checks.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
- 1-2 years of engineering leadership experience.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing projects from start to finish.
- Ability to prioritize projects based on urgency.
- Proficiency in evaluating and refining sketches and designs.
- Experience in metal and wood fabrication.
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
This is a salaried position and compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
