Job Title: Drafter

Job Description

We are seeking a CAD Drafter for a 3-month onsite role in Monrovia, with the potential to extend to 6 months. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks, capable of creating both drawings and 3D models, and have strong skills in SolidWorks and PDM. Basic knowledge of CATIA V5 would be helpful for minor drawing edits, though it’s not essential. Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and plastic parts would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Utilize PDM systems to manage and organize design files.
• Perform minor drawing edits using CATIA V5 when necessary.
• Collaborate with the team on electro-mechanical assembly designs.
• Design and modify plastic parts as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience in creating both drawings and 3D models.
• Strong skills in PDM systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CATIA V5.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly.
• Experience with designing plastic parts.

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Monrovia. The role may extend from 3 months to 6 months based on project needs. The work environment involves collaboration with a skilled team, using advanced CAD software and tools. Professional attire is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
