Job Title: Electrical Controls Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry and electrical control manufacturers’ products. You will be responsible for understanding and utilizing electrical software, including RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and possesses strong technical writing and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the wastewater treatment industry and electrical control manufacturers’ products.
• Understand and utilize electrical software, including RSLogix 5000, Modicon, and other PLC, HMI, and VFD configuration software.
• Work independently and be self-motivated.
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Perform hands-on work with heavy industrial equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and work with electro-mechanical ancillary equipment, such as pumps and motors, valves and actuators, flowmeters, and VFDs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr.
