What You'll Do:

• Design layouts for grounding, duct bank, conduit, cable tray, and lighting.
• Create detailed drawings like one-lines, motor schematics, and installation details.
• Perform calculations for various electrical components.
• Follow design standards and maintain project revisions.
• Apply design codes and specifications.
• Review and ensure quality of design deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Keep project managers updated on changes.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Stay proficient in AutoCAD.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in electrical drafting and design.
• Experience in utility projects (gas or electric).
• Knowledge of electrical systems in the oil and gas industry.
• Understanding of math, geometry, and algebra for drawing production.

Work Environment:

• Medium-sized engineering office with 35-50 people.
• Hybrid work structure: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
• Flexibility for non-local candidates.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
