Job Title: Electrical Drafter

Job Description

The Drafter provides successful plans for the organization and team according to the strategic direction and organizational standards set by the Directorial Team.

Responsibilities

• Collect materials required for designs
• Draft designs using computer-aided design (AutoCAD and Revit) software
• Create diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs
• Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and designs
• Adjust drawings according to feedback from engineers or designers
• Ensure designs comply with company regulations and quality standards
• Set up drawings and configuration files
• Provide basic calculations for use by the design team in preparation of the project documents
• Manage general downloads and files received from outside consultants and architects
• Work from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications created by engineers and designers
• Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Essential Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in Revit
• 3 year of electrical experience preferred

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
• Willingness to learn electrical drafting
• Team player
• Eager to continue learning

The role involves working on various projects including hospitality/casino, commercial, multifamily, industrial, and medical. The company emphasizes continuous employee development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00

Some of the benefits the client offers is Unlimited PTO and fully paid medical benefits for the candidate. They also offer a 32 hour work week and the ability to earn a remote schedule after proving yourself in the office.
