An Electrical Service Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of an electrical service department, including managing a team of technicians, dispatching service calls, ensuring timely completion of repairs and installations, maintaining customer relationships, adhering to electrical codes, and overseeing the department's budget and financial performance, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
Team Management:
Recruit, hire, and train electrical service technicians.
Assign work orders and manage technician schedules.
Provide performance evaluations and coaching to technicians.
Ensure team compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer service calls and inquiries.
Estimate costs for service repairs and installations
Manage customer expectations and resolve complaints
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
Operations Management:
Dispatch technicians to service calls efficiently
Monitor work order progress and ensure timely completion
Review and approve invoices for completed jobs
Manage inventory of parts and equipment
Technical Expertise:
Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot complex problems
Ensure all electrical work is performed according to industry standards and local codes
Stay updated on new electrical technologies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
