Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Evaluate electrical products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research while applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Responsible for the design and development of Rugged Displays, Rugged Computers, and Panel PCs for the Defense Industry. Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods and testing finished products and system capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Rugged Displays, Rugged Computers, and Panel PCs for the Defense Industry.
• Evaluate electrical products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research.
• Apply knowledge of electricity and materials in product design.
• Design electrical testing methods and test finished products and system capabilities.
• Ensure product quality through rigorous testing procedures.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering; the position can be Engineer or Senior Engineer depending on years of experience.
• Experience in circuit design and PCB layout.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of electronics, debugging, and diagnostics.
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to multi-task programs and collaborate with various departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Experience working in a government or DoD space is a plus.

Work Environment

The role requires 100% onsite work in Mahwah, NJ, following a 9/80 schedule. You will be part of a tight-knit group with a total of 45 employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
