Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Job Description

Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial structured cabling projects. This role requires experience in both industrial and commercial verticals and design-build expertise. The position involves developing scope letters, traveling up to 30%, and performing bid walks in industrial environments. You will interface with other project managers to gather relevant information to provide firm bids for prospective jobs. Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors, adhering to all required project safety requirements, and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism are essential aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for commercial and industrial structured cabling projects.
• Develop scope letters.
• Travel up to 30% to perform bid walks in industrial environments.
• Interface with other project managers to gather relevant information for firm bids.
• Maintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors.
• Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and OSHA.
• Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in workmanship, customer relations, coworker interactions, behavior, and appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

• Experience in estimation, low voltage, and electrical construction.
• Proficient with Accubid/Accubid Pro/Change Order or similar software.
• Knowledge of CCTV and access control for estimation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Low voltage field experience required (Voice, Data, CCTV, OSP, etc.).
• Open to senior electrician level or foreman looking to move into an estimator position.

Work Environment

The role requires traveling up to 30% for bid walks in industrial environments. You will work closely with other project managers and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism. Safety adherence as per Company and OSHA requirements is mandatory.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $58.00/hr.
