What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Test Technician position at Actalent?
The Electronics Technician will utilize a variety of test procedures, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics to test and troubleshoot integrated unit level assemblies as well as circuit board assemblies down to the component level.
This role includes the assembly processes for both unit subassembly and the final integration of unit level assemblies.
Required Skills
• Perform in-circuit and functional test and component level troubleshooting on complex circuit card assemblies.
• Mechanical skills to disassemble and reassemble product per drawings or other documents using common tools.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshootsubassembly level components.
• Integrate, test, calibrate and troubleshoot complex end item assemblies.
• Work closely with Test, Systems, Hardware and Software Engineering to resolve issues, improve manufacturability and
assure high yields.
• Adhere to highest quality standards.
Required Experience
Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Must have knowledge of digital and analog circuitry and be capable of troubleshooting complex assemblies to the component level.
Must understand written work instructions and comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Must be able to diagnose complex circuitry
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $37.00/hr.
