JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an Electronics Test Engineer to manage test fixtures, processes, and diagnostics for one specific customer. Responsibilities include developing and supporting production tests, creating testing procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and analyzing data to improve yields. Strong knowledge of analog / digital circuitry and experience with circuit schematics and process documentation are essential. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to drive quality and efficiency in manufacturing.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Electronics or in a related field (Electronics / Electrical).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in an electronic assembly environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This Test Engineer position will have direct ownership of the testing fixtures, test processes, and board failure diagnostics for a single customer. Additional general responsibilities to include :
QUALIFICATIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read, speak, & understand English to enable clear communication & comprehension of documentation.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills required to add, subtract, multiply & divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situation where limited standardization exists; to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee
must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
