Job Title: Energy Consultant
Job Description
As an Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, interacting with customers and utilities, and creating reports to support our renewable energy projects. You will work closely with a team of professionals to improve processes and ensure data privacy and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Gather data and check the Sustainability mailbox daily for replies about utility data.
- Review authorization letters to ensure they are complete and correct.
- Answer customer questions about the data collection program.
- Solve problems and troubleshoot with customers and utilities.
- Update the Utility Data Collection Tracker by matching property details and marking received data.
- Create pivot tables to help analyze the collected data.
- Make basic status reports in PowerPoint using the collected data.
- Create templates for outreach efforts and enter bill data into templates.
- Work with team members to find and implement ways to improve processes.
- Follow data privacy rules and ensure data is accurate and secure.
- Build reports based on data inputs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working as a data analyst or in a similar role (e.g., project management associate)
- Experience in engineering consulting or utilities (e.g., NREL, Xcel)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, communications, environmental science/studies, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability is a plus
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Initiative and ability to work well in a team
Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid schedule based out of our Denver office, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, with potential for more flexibility later. You will work on a team of 10 and report to the developer. Our company is ranked #3 among US corporations for onsite solar and is engaged in solar, storage, and EV projects in over 12 countries. This position offers significant growth opportunities within the company, including potential advancement to higher management roles in ESG or sustainability
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00
