Job Description:
As a QC Chemist, you will conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing to support the chemical manufacturing process. You will analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples. Responsibilities include performing data entry, generating and filing records, setting up lab equipment, performing calibrations, and recommending or initiating corrective actions for lab and product non-conformance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical, physical, and performance testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and finished product samples.
- Perform data entry, generate and file records.
- Set up laboratory equipment and perform calibrations.
- Recommend and initiate corrective actions for lab and product non-conformance.
- Support safety, quality, 5S, ISO, GMP, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Actively contribute to continuous quality, environmental, and safety improvement processes.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Zero years of work experience required with a 4-year Chemistry degree, 2 years minimum QC work experience with a 4-year Associate Science degree, or 4 years minimum QC work experience with a 2-year Chemistry or equivalent degree.
- Familiarity with standard lab methodology and instrumentation.
- Technical skills to achieve challenging objectives.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with colorimetry, IR, titrations (auto and manual), viscosity, turbidity, digital density, melting and freezing point, GC, LC-MS, and atomic absorption.
- Experience with data entry and software like Excel or SAP.
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
