Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient check-ins and check-outs, insurance verification, rooming patients, scribing, ordering labs, relaying lab results, and refilling supplies.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out patients
• Verify insurance information
• Room patients
• Scribe for healthcare providers
• Order lab tests
• Relay lab results to patients
• Refill medical supplies
• Conduct flu tests
• Take manual blood pressure measurements

Essential Skills

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Medical Assisting diploma or certification required
• High School Diploma
• 1 years' experience

Additional Skills

• 1 year of back office experience
• 1 year of urgent care experience
• Data entry skills

Work Environment

The Medical Assistant will primarily work in the back office but will also assist at the front desk. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with occasional weekend shifts from 8am to 2pm, with at least a week's notice.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
