Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in an assisted living facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all aspects of resident care, including assisted living services.
- Maintain medical supplies inventory.
- Implement health orientation and training programs for staff and residents.
- Evaluate resident care needs and update medical charts and care plans.
- Monitor and maintain records of immunizations for associates and residents.
- Manage medication administration and maintain records.
- Supervise and evaluate personal care associates.
- Ensure regulatory training requirements are met for associates.
- Maintain professional accountability for nursing practice.
- Observe residents' health status and address concerns within scope of practice.
- Review and implement incident reports to minimize risk of further occurrences.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Experience in assisted living or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage medical supplies and medication administration.
- Knowledge of regulatory training requirements.
- Compassionate and professional attitude towards residents and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPAA laws.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with elderly residents and staff.
Work Environment
- This is an onsite role, the shift is an 8 hour day shift
- Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
