Job Title: Inside/Outside Research Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inside/Outside Research Worker for a seasonal role (summer and fall) that involves working both indoors and outdoors at different times of the year. This position requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow standard and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Harvest plant material according to defined protocol
• Maintain research plots
• Discard seeds
• Collect field data
• General housekeeping
• Weigh samples
• Process plant samples, including partitioning and milling
• Operate research equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences preferred
• Capability to work around soybeans, corn pollen, and dust
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
