Job Title: Lab Assistant

Job Description

Seeking two Laboratory Assistants. The successful candidates will support our laboratory operations by assisting with sample preparation, data entry, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sample Preparation: Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis, including labeling, sorting, and organizing samples.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter data into laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and ensure proper documentation of all activities.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Quality Control: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Collaboration: Work cohesively with chemists, sample preparation technicians, and other team members to support laboratory operations.
• Reporting: Report to a Manager and communicate any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Work Environment

You will be part of a cohesive team, collaborating closely with chemists, sample preparation technicians, and other data entry employees. Employees report to a Manager, ensuring clear communication and guidance. The Brea location has a team of 27 dedicated employees, fostering a tight-knit community. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
