Job Title: Lab Technician

What You'll Do:
As a Lab Technician, you will:
- Process and Innovate:Work with SPF chicken embryos, cell cultures, and microbial cultures to help push the boundaries of scientific research.
- Create & Collaborate:Play a crucial role in producing antigens and reagents while preparing essential buffers, media, and solutions that aid in groundbreaking discoveries.
- Maintain Precision:Keep accurate internal records to ensure excellent compliance and quality standards in our lab processes.
- Ensure Cleanliness:Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace through effective documentation and housekeeping practices.
The Skills You Bring:
- Proven experience in a laboratory and cleanroom settings, showcasing your hands-on skills.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) and a strong understanding of aseptic techniques, fume hoods, and sterile protocols.
- A solid foundation in biology and microbiology, complemented by proficiency in pipetting and using autoclaves.
- A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail that will help elevate our lab's standards.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience or training in a lab environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience are warmly welcomed!
Your Work Environment:
- Enjoy an 8-hour shift starting at 7:30 am, engaging in hands-on work that is both rewarding and essential within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience a dynamic atmosphere that includes frequent movement and lifting (up to 50 pounds), along with operating tools and microscopes.
- Adapt to various temperature conditions, ensuring a safe and effective working environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
