Laboratory Support Specialist

Job Description

Support daily operations within the R&D Analytical department. Perform a variety of tasks to assist in the smooth running of the lab, ensuring compliance with GMP and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repeatability Balance Check (daily)
• Monitor laboratory waste (daily)
• Calibrate pH meter (daily)
• Sample logging (daily)
• General lab cleaning and glassware washing (daily)
• Monitor data loggers (weekly)
• Stock management (weekly)
• Manage reagents and samples expiry (weekly)
• Order supplies (weekly)
• Change HPLC solvents for storage (as needed)
• Organize Equipment Binders (as needed)
• Organize Columns for analytical testing (as needed)
• Perform general column maintenance (as needed)

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of Excel for data entry

Work Environment

Typical lab environment supporting analysts, scientists, and technicians. The lab has a less stressful atmosphere compared to the quality/commercial side but maintains a high workload with timelines and due dates.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
