Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within manufacturing processes and compliance, including ISO 9001 requirements and documentation. This role requires expertise in special processes such as brazing, assembly, welding, chemfilm, and painting, as well as reviewing military specifications and handling corrective actions for rejected parts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that meet or exceed quality standards
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements
- Review and approve military specifications for production
- Lead corrective action efforts for rejected parts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing efficiency
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Extensive experience in manufacturing processes and compliance
- Specialized knowledge of brazing, assembly, welding, chemfilm, and painting processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Hampstead, Maryland, working in an ITAR facility with machine shop settings and two 90,000 sq. ft. parts manufacturing plants on location.
