Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design products for manufacturability using a combination of independent research and collaboration. This role involves generating product models, concept layouts, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software. Additionally, the candidate will prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), develop manufacturing process flows, and enter parts lists and labor requirements into ERP software. The position supports materials sourcing, purchasing, and selection required by the design process and observes all designed projects from the conceptual phase through production to final assembly.
Responsibilities

Work Environment
This position is onsite full-time, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with some flexibility if needed for personal reasons. The work environment includes a recently expanded 500,000 sq ft facility, with additional expansions in other locations. The manufacturing capabilities include 9 robotic welding cells, welding, powder coating, bending, laser cutting, and punch presses. Direction and oversight will be provided by the team, and the first 30 days will be spent in a 'WAR room' with key engineers to ensure progress.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
