Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Field Service Engineers conduct a broad range of inspection, engineering, and supervisory tasks in support of in-house testing, installation, start-up, and service/repair of a full range of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and engineering tasks related to industrial equipment.
• Supervise the installation and start-up of new equipment.
• Perform service and repair tasks on a variety of industrial machines.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to identify and resolve issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Assist companies with the installation of new equipment.
• Write project plans, test plans, and equipment manuals.

Essential Skills

• Field Service Engineering experience with motor-controlled hydraulic and pneumatic industrial machines.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with mechanical systems (hydraulic and pneumatic), electrical systems (PLC, motor controls, sensors).
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) both domestically and internationally.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65
