Description
As an Engineer, you will demonstrate skill and responsibility by consistently providing high-quality service to your internal customers (the Project Managers). This includes offering timely feedback and reliable information that enables Project Managers to confidently discuss project progress with external customers. For day-to-day success, you will be able to: Take ideas from initial concept through to production Develop, assess, and evaluate conceptual designs Create detailed technical plans using computer-aided design programs including Solidworks and AutoCAD Apply mathematical and scientific skills to develop workable, real-world solutions Consider implications of cost, safety, and time constraints in your designs Select appropriate materials for assigned projects Plan and design new production processes Develop project specifications with colleagues across engineering disciplines Rigorously test products, projects, and infrastructure Recommend modifications based on prototype testing results Balance multiple projects while maintaining proper engineering principles Estimate costs and timelines accurately Monitor installation and commissioning of new processes and systems Supervise production when required Perform daily operations of design engineering and problem solving Discuss and solve complex problems collaboratively with the team and stakeholders Ensure products perform consistently in their specified operating environments Develop efficient solutions for both small components and large elements Stay current with international engineering trends and standards Conduct research and apply new knowledge to your work Collaborate effectively with professionals both within and outside engineering Assist installation, testing, and commissioning in the field on an as-needed basis

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.
