Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join the Environmental Monitoring Team of a global bio-pharmaceutical company specializing in sterile manufacturing. This team is responsible for viable and non-viable monitoring of the manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling. Samples will be logged in a proprietary LIMS, and cGMP documentation practices will be adhered to. Analysts will also be responsible for processing water, product, and commodity samples and performing bioburden testing. Additionally, they will conduct bioburden and endotoxin testing on facility water before and during manufacturing campaigns to ensure product sterility.

Responsibilities

• Perform viable and non-viable environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling.
• Log samples into proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices.
• Process water, product, and commodity samples.
• Conduct bioburden testing and endotoxin testing on facility water before and during manufacturing campaigns.
• Ensure sterility of the product through rigorous testing procedures.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience with environmental monitoring, including aseptic gowning and monitoring of production lines.
• Proficiency in water sampling, including bioburden and endotoxin testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment in Wilson. Coverage is needed every day at 4 AM to support production. The position offers flexibility with shifts, open to 4 10-hour days, either Tuesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday. You will report to the new Micro supervisor starting in March.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
