Job Title: Microbiology Lab Technician

• Tuesday-Saturday 2pm - 10:30pm
• Monday-Friday 12pm - 8:30pm
• Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-8:30pm

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field preferred

Job Description

• Enter the sample data into eLIMS system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct laboratory testing on all incoming samples accurately, efficiently, and timely; ensure sample turnaround time goals are met or exceeded.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
• Homogenize and aseptically split samples into bags.
• Enrich samples with media.
• Incubate samples using LIMS system.
• Check samples into retain using storage management.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specification samples.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.38 - $18.38
