What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner Scheduler position at Actalent?
Description
The position is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining the master production schedule for all assigned value streams to ensure production plans are achieved. The individual will analyze loading and scheduling of materials to optimize machine efficiency, set-ups, inventory levels, and maintaining stellar delivery performance by verifying orders are completed on-time and in-full. Schedules the plant and communicates the schedule and any changes to the appropriate personnel. Sets the weekly and monthly loading capacities for each product group. Expedites orders and is the decision maker for all production flow and individual order priorities. Ensures proper flow and makes recommendations on human resource allocation and scheduling. Works closely with the Production Control Manager and Operations Managers to continuously improve the performance of the plant.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $68.00/hr.
