Job Title: Product Compliance Engineer
Job Description
The role involves preventing compliance issues by collaborating with engineering and design teams, reviewing design data and material selection, and identifying product design issues. The individual will review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for compliance with product NRTL files and environmental directives. They will develop compliance plans by researching and selecting appropriate product safety and regulatory standards, evaluating new compliance methodologies, and qualifying vendors, components, and parts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to prevent compliance issues.
- Review design data and material selection to identify product design issues.
- Review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for compliance with product NRTL files and environmental directives.
- Develop compliance plans by researching and selecting appropriate product safety and regulatory standards.
- Evaluate new compliance methodologies and qualify vendors, components, and parts.
- Organize compliance programs by preparing timetables, cost estimates, and required resources, including test laboratories and equipment.
- Determine compliance by reviewing test standards, analyzing findings, performing forensic analysis of failures, troubleshooting, and supervising subcontractors.
- Attain compliance by resolving non-compliance issues, recommending product and process changes, initiating engineering change orders, and supporting audits.

Work Environment
Flexible work schedule with 2 days at home and 3 in the office. Employee profit sharing based on a percentage of annual salary, determined by annual company performance. Enjoy 10 paid holidays and 2 weeks of PTO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
