Job Description

This contractor role in beverage R&D involves the creation and optimization of beverages for our cafés and other business channels globally. Join our team and help create amazing experiences!

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize beverage formulas
• Conduct tasting sessions with brand marketing and cross-functional teams
• Create, develop, and validate formulas
• Perform lab work, which will be a major portion of the role
• Collaborate with global teams, occasionally requiring late or early calls

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of lab experience (food science preferred)
• 3-5 years of product development experience
• Experience managing multiple projects
• Knowledge in chemistry, microbiology, and biology
• Proficiency in research and development
• Project management skills
• Experience in food manufacturing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in a science-related field (food science is a bonus)
• Analytical or science background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Standard lab chemistry background
• Experience with acidity, pH, and scalability (from bench to scale)
• Knowledge of solids content
• Barista experience (bonus)

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our headquarters. You will be part of a highly interactive and cross-functional lab-based team. The work involves significant collaboration with global partners, possibly requiring late or early calls. The environment is dynamic and focused on innovation, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
