Job Title: Product Support Specialist

Job Description

Provide technical support to perform sales and applications engineering, answering technical inquiries from engineers and designers around the world. Support the implementation of next-generation interconnect solutions as well as our extensive base of existing product lines. Develop a deep understanding of the technical requirements of high-reliability interconnection systems, including military standard-type cylindrical and rectangular connectors, connector accessories, conduit assemblies, cable assemblies, and wire harnesses. Work closely with customers to address their technical questions, assist in solving interconnection challenges, and set up new build-to-order production packages. Read blueprints, evaluate customer proposals, and collaborate with design and other engineering departments to address customer queries.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with technical questions and solve interconnection challenges.
• Set up new build-to-order production packages.
• Read and interpret blueprints and customer proposals.
• Interact with design and other engineering departments to resolve customer questions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, technology management, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical degree program
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints or schematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CadKey or AutoCad (2D)
• Familiarity with popular 3D CAD software (Inventor, PRO/E, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.)

Work Environment

You will work within the Circular Connectors Group. The company offers opportunities for development and profit sharing, with a history of no layoffs. The role involves collaborating with various colleagues, customers, and vendors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
