What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support, Product Specialist position at FMF Racing?
FMF Racing is hiring a Customer Support/Product Specialist for our Southern California office location. We have a 50 year legacy and strong reputation in the Powersports Industry, built on performance products for dirt machines of many kinds and heathy outdoor recreation. We take what we do seriously and with enthusiasm for our customers, expect the same from our staff. You will work with retail Consumers, amateur racers, Dealers and wholesale Distribution personnel. Basic requirements for success:
- Phone skills – handle multiple calls as needed, basic experience in multi-phone line environment. Be helpful, articulate, personable and solutions provider.
- Email – familiar with Microsoft Outlook mail system also chat mails. Be positive and complete, ensuring communications make sense to the reader at their level. Use proper spelling and punctuation.
- Computer entry – basic keyboard familiarity, ability & desire to learn our system and why/how to use to provide information to customers and sales results.
- Manual dexterity – occasional handling of product, minor assembly or installation
- Some mechanical background preferred not required, willingness to learn and understand products, purposes, installation.
The ability to recognize and adapt to the needs of each customer type and situation individually is highly important.
- Full-time hourly in-office position.
- No relocation or remote work availability.
- Occasional paid travel, event participation.
