Job Description
We are seeking a Professional Land Surveyor with a license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in land development, municipal projects, and various types of land surveying. This role involves working with over 75 municipalities and authorities in the Greater Philadelphia area, handling all aspects of land development, water resources, and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using GPS and boundary survey software.
- Perform topographic surveys and construction stakeouts.
- Manage projects related to civil surveying and land development.
- Collaborate with municipal authorities and clients on various surveying projects.
- Provide accurate and detailed survey data for land development and municipal projects.
Essential Skills
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
- Experience in land development and municipal projects.
- Proficiency in land surveying and boundary survey software.
- Knowledge of topography, GPS, and construction stakeout techniques.
- Strong project management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in civil surveying and project management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment
Candidates will ideally be based in the New Britain Headquarters. Our team consists of approximately 175 professionals and staff spread across five offices in the Greater Philadelphia area. We operate as a family-owned business, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Standard working hours apply, with some flexibility depending on project requirements. The dress code is business casual for office staff, while field staff must wear appropriate PPE and field gear. We are committed to promoting from within, and many of our leaders started their careers with us. During the initial 12-month period, candidates will receive vacation and holiday pay, including up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
