Job Title: Project Consultant

Job Description

This role involves leading and collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project objectives, execute strategies, and deliver successful project outcomes. The Project Consultant provides a high level of expertise, direction, and mentorship to ensure project excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
• Work with clients and stakeholders to develop project strategies, objectives, and detailed plans.
• Identify potential project risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and implement risk management protocols.
• Allocate and manage project resources, including budgets, personnel, and equipment.
• Assemble and lead project teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed quality and performance standards.
• Manage changes to project scope, objectives, and timelines, evaluating their impact and making adjustments as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing their needs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for clients, stakeholders, and organizational leadership.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop best practices, and optimize project management capabilities.
• Collaborate with various departments and functions within the organization to ensure project success.
• Ensure that projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and industry requirements.

Essential Skills

• 10 years of experience in project management and consulting roles, including experience with complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, best practices, and industry trends.
• A track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects.
• Experience identifying potential project risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management protocols.
• Engineering, Construction, natural gas expertise.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience supporting utility industry preferred, specifically natural gas transmission or distribution projects.
• Client-focused with a deep understanding of client relationship management.

Work Environment

Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in-office and 2 days remo

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
