Job Title: Project Coordinator - Construction (Billing Experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with experience in construction and billing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, the candidate will manage billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Billing and Financial Management:
- Prepare and process invoices for construction projects.
- Track project expenses and ensure they align with the budget.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any issues with clients or subcontractors.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial records.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas and minutes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrative Duties in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Experience with billing and financial management in a construction setting.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM).
- Familiarity with construction accounting software.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.
