Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring project plans, organizing and participating in meetings, and providing administrative support. This entry-level position is perfect for a recent graduate in building science or construction management who is eager to learn and grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor project plans.
- Organize, attend, and participate in meetings.
- Chair and facilitate meetings when appropriate, and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Assist with scheduling daily work activities and develop critical path schedule modules.
- Assist with the overall schedule development for projects and proposals.
- Create a project management calendar to fulfill each goal and objective.
- Assist with change order management.
- Assist with submittal review, coordination, and implementation.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing daily reports, time and attendance records, safety meeting rosters, and daily job photos.
- Manage a wide range of communication and documents via several electronic systems.
- Undertake project tasks as required.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Assist with project surveying and layout techniques.
- Perform quantity surveys and estimates for materials.
- Gain knowledge of all project building systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry-level position, ideally a recent graduate in building science or construction management
- Ability to promote to a Project Manager or Superintendent role within 3 years upon successful execution

- Learn and assist with implementing quality management systems and punch list management
- Learn and assist with coordination of material deliveries, rigging techniques, and site storage
- Learn and assist with subcontractor qualifications, subcontractor management, and owner/client coordination
Work Environment
