Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Assistant to support a Project Manager, who is currently managing multiple responsibilities. This role offers the potential to grow into a larger position, possibly becoming an Associate Project Manager for those eager to learn and develop.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support as needed, with varied tasks each day.
- Help manage inbox and calendar, coordinating meetings.
- Communicate with clients for projects and project websites; coordinate with the marketing team to take down websites once projects are completed.
- Assist with invoicing for projects, including reviewing old invoices to determine financial status.
- Set up internal and external meetings.
- Assist with front-end documentation for clients/projects.
- Help put together proposals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience as a corporate-level executive assistant, assistant to a project manager, or administrative assistant.
- A proactive, go-getter attitude with a strategic mindset.
- Experience in the A&E or construction industry is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Familiarity with approvals on Teams.
- Knowledge of Adobe is a plus.
Work Environment:
- In-office at Town Center Virginia Beach, 8 AM - 5 PM.
- Flexibility with a hybrid schedule, potentially working remotely on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
