Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

The role of the Construction Project Manager is to manage day-to-day operations of the project, procure materials required, hold weekly project meetings, schedule subcontractors, and lead field crews. This individual will be working on Multi-Family projects managing all individuals on-site including subcontractors, vendors, clients, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with the city to obtain permits and entitlements.
• Collaborate with surveyors and excavators to establish boundaries, site grades, and site controls.
• Procure materials and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Schedule trades to complete work while maintaining the project schedule.
• Educate trade contractors to better understand construction documents.
• Work with trade contractors to solve issues in a cost-efficient manner.
• Have a strong understanding of Apartments/Condos, Townhomes, and Land Development.

Essential Skills

• 0-5 years of professional experience working as a Project Manager on construction projects.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction preferred.
• Experience with Multi-Family ground-up builds preferred.
• Proficiency in SmartBid, Bluebeam, and ProCore.
• Experience with estimating.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years running the entire project from inception through completion. These projects and years of experience must be commercial projects.
• 1 years of experience working on Multi-Family projects.

Work Environment

The job is performed in a construction site setting. Must be willing to travel 80% of the time. Project locations are within 5 hours of Sioux Falls. The company provides a truck with a gas card and pays around $75/month for cell phones. Housing is paid for in full as Per Diem, including rent, cable, water, and utilities. Other flexible housing options are available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
