Actalent is in search of a well-qualified Quality Control Manager who holds a valid CQM-C and has tenured experience with NAVFAC and USACE.
The Quality Control Manager is in charge of project Quality Control and daily oversight for construction. This is a full-time position and requires the QC Manager to be on-site whenever project construction activities are being performed. We seek highly motivated employees committed to performing quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction while working in a team environment. The QC Manager will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) for the assigned job site, in accordance with the client's safety requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and help write daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Work as a member of the project team to ensure compliance with the APP and AHA’s
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable OSHA and site/customer-specific regulations and standards
- Conduct regular site inspections/audits and document violations to implement corrective actions
- Prepare comprehensive safety reports and complete all safety-related documentation and paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- OSHA 30 or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- 4 year ABET or ACCE accredited degree related to engineering or construction
- The QC Manager shall meet EM 385-1-1 section 1 requirements with a minimum of 5 years of experience on federal construction projects acting as a full-time QCM enforcing EM-385
- Experience performing QC duties on communications infrastructure construction projects preferred
- Must be organized and able to communicate/interface effectively (good written and verbal skills) with Government, contractor, and vendor personnel
- Able to work effectively in a mobile environment
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
