Job Description
The Quality Document Specialist is responsible for managing ISO Document Management and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) through SharePoint and internal systems. This role involves generating documentation for various departments, maintaining quality records, and performing audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. The specialist collaborates with operations to enhance product quality and processes, requiring both technical skills and physical capabilities.
Responsibilities
• Will be responsible for managing ISO Document Management and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) through SharePoint and internal systems
• This role involves generating documentation for various departments, maintaining quality records, and performing audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• The specialist collaborates with operations to enhance product quality and processes, requiring both technical skills and physical capabilities
• Maintain quality department records, customer-specific requirements, quality alerts, and inspection tests
• Perform QMS/document audits and address discrepancies
• Support the establishment and improvement of quality systems and facilitate continuous improvements efforts of the Quality System.
• Manage the approval and archival of SOP, WI, Process Flows, CAPA, OOS, deviations, nonconformance, complaints and investigation as required
• Support validation and qualification of process equipment, lab equipment, stability chambers, cleaning, and utilities.
- Monitoring quality procedures on the shop floor to make sure production staff align with documentation
- The core function of this role is to help rebuild their current quality management system to align with new standards as a part of the acquisition
- 500 documents need maintained, formatted, and updated
MUST HAVE:
1. ISO 9001
2. Quality Management System experience (QMS)
3. 2 years of quality engineering, quality specialist, or quality documentation experience supporting a MANUFACTURING environment
4. Microsoft office, SharePoint, excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
5. Experience supporting quality audits in any capacity (this could be internal or external audits)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
