Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician for our 3rd shift. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Additionally, technicians will be on call for one Saturday each month, as designated.

Responsibilities

• Test ingredients to ensure they meet specifications and are safe for consumption.
• Conduct laboratory tests including water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity.
• Perform environmental swabs to test for allergens, molds, and other hazards.
• Ensure sanitation, batch records, and product release records are properly filled out and filed.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge in chemistry and biology.
• High school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No prior lab experience necessary.
• Eagerness to enter the science field.

Work Environment

The work environment is divided between the lab and the production line. Half of the shift involves testing products in the lab, while the other half includes retrieving samples and performing line checks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50
