Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing support to our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. This position involves patient follow-ups, data entry, handling electronic refill scripts, and triaging patient inquiries. Responsibilities

• Perform follow-ups with patients and update records.
• Enter patient data accurately and efficiently.
• Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle Electronic Refill Scripts (ERX) and order labs as required.
• Relay lab results to patients and coordinate scheduled follow-ups.
• Assist with prior authorizations and cover my meds processes.
• Triage patient inquiries and provide clinical support as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1 year experience in Medical Assisting or Pharmacy Technician.
• 1 year experience in a high call volume environment.
• High School Diploma.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Athena.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior authorization experience.
• Experience with ordering labs and triaging patient inquiries.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is a plus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at a contact center, taking over 200 calls a day. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and holiday pay (6 paid holidays). Upon becoming a permanent employee, you will receive 9 paid holidays and 15 days of PTO, with opportunities for performance-based pay raises. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
