Job Title: Robotic Programming Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Robotic Programming Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both online and offline robot programming, evaluating quality, and creating comprehensive handover documents. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, project management, and CAD design, with a focus on automation, mechatronics, and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Perform online robot programming, run trials, adjust parameters, and evaluate quality drawings to meet standards.
- Conduct offline robot programming using simulation software for reach studies and cycle time analysis.
- Use Fanuc Paint Pro and Kawasaki Carott3 programming software.
- Evaluate quality using elco-meters, Fisher Dual Scope, wave-scan, and BYK-Mac.
- Create handover documents including snapshots of robot processes, node maps, quality data, and program backups.
- Plan for weekend work and develop robotic programs.
- Run quality trials before, during, and after production shifts.
- Support maintenance during major breakdowns as an expert.
- Collect data and track quality adjustments.

Work Environment
Our team supports many projects and strives to complete tasks with respect for each other and the regional groups we support. Interaction with various teams such as SE, Digital Engineering, Production Pilot, Production PE, Production Team Members, and Production Management is essential. The typical hands-on day-to-day responsibilities include planning for weekend work, developing robotic programs, running quality trials, supporting maintenance during major breakdowns, and tracking quality adjustments. The business objective is to support paint shop model launches, new equipment installations, and cost-saving initiatives. We offer 10 PTO days and 9 paid holidays per calendar year. Any hours worked over 40 are compensated at time and a half, and we take care of all the travel for contractors.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
