Job Title: Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong knowledge in commercial construction estimation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calculating the costs of construction projects, including time, materials, labor, and equipment required for commercial jobs. This role is crucial for the growth and development of our company as we scale up and win more projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed estimations for commercial construction projects.
• Calculate costs of materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects.
• Prepare and present cost reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of change orders.
• Ensure accuracy in the estimation process to prevent cost overruns.

Essential Skills

• 10 years of experience in commercial construction estimation.
• Proficiency in wood and metal framing, carpentry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
• Expertise in estimation, bidding, blueprint reading, and construction management.
• Knowledge of estimating software.
• Experience in design-build projects and pricing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00

Potential to negotiate for a company vehicle

$600/month reimbursement for travel.
