Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil PE to join one of Colorado's largest full-service structural and civil engineering providers. The selected candidate will work with the Civil Engineer locally in executing business development efforts in the Albuquerque area and assist in the design portion of projects won.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptual design.
• Determine fees and prepare proposals.
• Fill out Project Setup Forms and review/fill out work authorizations.
• Establish a QA/QC plan for each project.
• Mentor engineers and assist with their career development.
• Attend project meetings and represent the company during design and construction.
• Follow up on the collection of account receivables.

• At least 2 years of experience in business development, meeting with potential clients, and winning projects

• Ten years minimum of progressive civil engineering design experience

• Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods
• Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills
• Committed to client services and a team-based approach
• Attention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client services
• Ability to work with a wide variety of clients, regulators, and authorities
• Proven marketing/business development skills
• Has a PE license in the State of New Mexico or the ability to obtain one within six months

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00

Our civil teams focus on site and infrastructure design including traffic/transportation, parking, street layout/lighting, water and wastewater utilities, stormwater drainage, circulation, paving, surveying, security issues, and other site considerations.
