Job Title: Research Scientist
Job Description
We are seeking a Research Scientist to join our Analytical Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing life-saving drugs by developing small molecule drugs for emerging pharma and biotech companies worldwide. You will have the opportunity to lead projects and contribute significantly to the development and transfer of analytical methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical testing strategies based on customer technical packages and process development synthetic routes
- Develop new analytical methods
- Assess customer methods for validation readiness
- Execute method validation protocols for the cGMP release of drug substance batches
- Author reports and review data
- Collaborate with customers and other functional areas to advance projects through development
- Provide analytical technical assistance to QC and Process Chemistry areas
- Assure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory policies/government regulations
- Execute HPLC, GC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, titrations, FTIR, and other analytical testing as required
- Execute analytical project timelines and method transfers to the QC group
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with 5 years of experience
- OR Master's Degree in Chemistry with 2 years of experience
- OR PhD in Chemistry with 0 years of experience
- Experience with analytical chemistry, method validation, method development, and method transfers
- Proficiency in HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, data analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and data review
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
