Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Structural Engineer to support a Structural Engineering firm in Cincinnati, OH. As a Structural Engineer, you will work on a variety of project types that include education, retail, office, healthcare, residential, industrial, hospitality, religious, and civic. This is a small to mid-size structural engineering firm with roughly 20 people, allowing you the opportunity to run projects from start to finish. The firm is comprised of 10 Professional Engineers and 10 support staff. This is a Revit-based firm which will require you to utilize Revit daily for any type of commercial and residential structural design, including new buildings, additions, and renovations. This is a consultant position where you will be a W-2 employee supporting the Structural Design firm, with an opportunity to transition to their team after a year. Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit daily for commercial and residential structural design.
• Work on structural design for new buildings, additions, and renovations.
• Manage projects from start to finish.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with a team of 10 Professional Engineers and 10 support staff.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural OR equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience utilizing Revit for Structural Design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structural engineering, structural design, civil engineering, structural steel, structural steel design, structural steel detailing, structural construction, structural concrete, structural analysis, structural drawing, and structural detailing.

Work Environment

Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. Small office environment that allows for client interaction and project management from start to finish. After working on-site for 6 months, 1-2 days remote work can be granted. Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and learn under at least 10 Professional Engineers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
