Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Structural Engineer to support a Structural Engineering firm in Cincinnati, OH. As the Structural Engineer, you will work on a variety of project types, including education, retail, office, healthcare, residential, industrial, hospitality, religious, and civic projects. This small to mid-size firm, with roughly 20 people, offers you the opportunity to run projects from start to finish. The firm comprises 10 Professional Engineers and 10 support staff. This is a Revit-based firm, requiring daily use of Revit for commercial and residential structural design. Structural design will include new buildings, additions, and renovations. This consultant position offers a chance to transition to the client's team after a year of support. Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit daily for commercial and residential structural design.
• Design new buildings, additions, and renovations.
• Manage projects from start to finish.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis.
• Work on a variety of projects including education, retail, office, healthcare, residential, industrial, hospitality, religious, and civic.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural or equivalent experience.
• Over 1 year of experience utilizing Revit for Structural Design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with structural steel, structural steel design, and structural steel detailing.
• Knowledge in structural construction, structural concrete, structural analysis, structural drawing, and structural detailing.

Work Environment

This position operates Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. After working on-site for 6 months, you may be granted 1-2 days of remote work. The work environment is supportive and offers the autonomy to interact with clients and manage projects independently. You will have the opportunity to work under at least 10 Professional Engineers, providing a rich learning experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
