Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for various types of projects including single-family residences, multifamily housing developments, commercial and institutional buildings, and school sports fields.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop designs using materials such as wood, masonry, steel, and concrete.
• Engage in both public and private sector projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.
• Utilize CAD standards and civil engineering software to create detailed project designs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design.
• Experience with structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (RISA-3D, Enercalc, Tedds, or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAD standards.
• Experience with project design and client interaction.
• Experience in budget management.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Work Environment

Civil Design team sits in SB, with a hybrid schedule of 2-days in office. The position can also be based out of the Ventura Office. Our team environment is collaborative and supportive, with a team size of 5. The dress code is business casual, and standard working hours are from 8am to 5pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $98000.00 - $112000.00/yr.
