Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to join our team for local federal projects. This role involves managing projects ranging from $1M to $10M, with a strong emphasis on long-term commitment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a superintendent, and will work closely with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and management to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in planning manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Serve as the direct liaison with the Government Contracting Official.
• Direct daily activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements.
• Maximize production and eliminate disruptions and downtime.
• Maintain the construction schedule and budget according to plan.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent.
• Experience on Department of Defense (DOD) projects, including new construction, ground-up, and renovations.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Office Suite.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Experience with project development and implementation of design-build construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
• Strong delegation skills.
• Project scheduling experience.
• GED or high school diploma (college degree preferred but not required).

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential for overtime. The work environment is primarily outdoors with some time spent in remote or main office locations. Normal site working attire is required, including a hard hat. The company provides a vehicle or vehicle allowance with a gas card, as well as a laptop and cell phone. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
